About Sobriety Beach

My sobriety date is January 17, 2019. I started drinking in high school and drank for 27 years. Never again. Originally from Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, we gratefully settled near the beach in sunny Sarasota, Florida in 2010. I have always excelled in and loved education which masked my excessive drinking. I earned my BS in Psychology at Colorado State University, my MAT in Special Education at Xavier University of New Orleans, and my MLIS (Library and Information Science) degree from the University of South Florida. Jesus heard my cry, knew I was a mess, and saved my life. He redeemed me, rescued my marriage, and restored my healthy relationships. He’ll do the same for you.
